BOARD OF DIRECTORS


Wahbung Abinoonjiiag strives to maintain a Board of Directors that is comprised of
individuals with diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, and knowledge that represent the
community. 
​Board of Directors are joined by Elders, community, and Wahbung staff to collectively share guidance, knowledge, and expertise to walk alongside and support children and their families impacted by violence.
Wahbung strives to maintain a Board of Directors that is comprised of individuals with diverse experiences and backgrounds that represent the diversity of the community.

Wahbung requires at least 50% of active Board Members to be Indigenous (First Nation, Inuit or Metis). Wahbung also requires at least 50% of Board Members to be persons living or working in the North End of Winnipeg, persons who were raise in the North End of Winnipeg, or persons with significant past experience working in the North End of Winnipeg.
